Choosing a school
Best Kindergarten in Panipat: Ikigai, Kaizen and Model Town
A kindergarten is where a child decides whether school is a place to be curious or a place to be careful. That is why the choice matters more than the building or the brochure. Small Wonders runs three kindergartens in Panipat, for ages two to six, and each is built around its own idea.
Small Wonders Ikigai, Yamuna Enclave
Ikigai is built around finding the spark: the thing a child cannot wait to get back to. Teachers watch for it and write down what they see, then build the inquiry around it. Ikigai has Early Years, EY1, EY2 and EY3. Call 9138 222 700.
Small Wonders Kaizen, Sector 12
Kaizen is built around one small improvement at a time. Learners practise folding, cutting, building and making, and get a little better each day. It is in Sector 12, HUDA. Call 8569 997 100.
Small Wonders Kindergarten, Model Town
Where Small Wonders began in 2002. Learners here work with real materials: balls, shapes, cubes and blocks, and learn through the same cycle of wondering, finding out, making sense and acting. Call 702 740 1201.
What is the same in all three
Every Small Wonders kindergarten teaches through inquiry. Learners start with a question and work out what happens, and teachers notice what each child does. It is the same way children learn at Infinia World School, the only IB World School within about 100 km, which teaches Early Years to Grade 8 and has its own kindergarten as well.
Infinia World School, TDI City
Infinia has its own kindergarten in TDI City, Panipat, and teaches Early Years to Grade 8. It is the only IB World School within about 100 km, so a child can start at age two and stay on. Call 9138 222 500.
How to choose between them
Pick the one nearest your home first, since a short journey makes for a happier child. Then visit, on an ordinary morning, and read our checklist on how to choose a play school. A visit takes about a morning, and you can ask for one at any of the three.
